When a person is detained at the Oconee County Detention Center, the Sheriff's Office creates a booking record that includes personal identifiers, charges, bond information, and physical description.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office oversees the Oconee County Detention Center. It maintains an inmate search portal through which members of the public can look up individuals in custody at the county jail. This database is updated constantly and includes the inmate's name, race, gender, arrest information, and filed charges.
